Hi and THANKS everybody.
Wat is the trick to lining up the tranny to engine with the truck on jack stands ? the trans jacj asdapter I bought was too high to use but I got it out anyway. 1992 Ranger 2.3

If you don't have a tranny jack,call one of your buddies over.The transmisson will have to be pretty much level to get it to go into the clutch and then the crank.If it doesn't exactly want to slide in,put the trans in 1st gear and have your buddy turn the engine crank from the front.That should line it up so it would go in.Is it an M5OD?
