Speed Limiter

Question to all of you tec's and ford6.0 know-it-all's. I want to remove my speed limiter but only when needed. On my nissian i had a switch in line with the speed-o scensor and turned it off when i need to break the 100mph barrier. Is it possiable to do the same with the newer f350 tow tranny or is there to many computer controled features with it?

Thanks

Maybe if you started off not calling people "know-it-alls", you would get a better reaction. What do they teach you in rookie school these days?

SORRY SENIOR USER!!

Its funny that almost every post has some smart guy ready to run his mouth.

What i ment was the 6.0 Geniuses the guys who really know it all about these trucks, because i dont.

I thought this sight was for people to share info and help others that have problems. My mistake i guess, because every time i post something i get a guy like you telling me what i have doen was stupid or calling out my statement. I have nothing to prove on this site but it does seem like some people do. I am just trying to get/share info and learn about my truck.

But Thanks SBV45 for correcting me, MY MISTAKE!

Aww, come on, I was just jerking your chain. Don't take it personal. It wasn't meant to be. You're right, this is the place to share info. That's how I got to be a senior user, by posting info.

I was reading about the Diablo Predator http://www.motorhaven.com/customer/home.php?cat=217
It has speed limiter adjustments.

Didn't I see another post from you about 1/4 mile performance using an Edge Juice? Does their documentation or support give you adjustments to the speed limiter? Might be a place to look.

Let us know what you find. Maybe some other user out there knows something about it.

Thank You for your reply!

The edge just adj. fuel, boost and eng. mngmnt.
not sure of all of the parameters it manipulates but i would like to know.
But I am sure there is a wire that can be spliced to a switch to turn off the speedo. the only problem is the after effects!!

Thanks

P.S. sorry i took it personal i must have my period
