Line on a uni
A friend at work went to look at a uni I heard about the other day for me. 10kms from my place. Not sure what year either 63 or 64. It's a 3/4 ton. Has been in barn for over 20 years. NO Rust, but has plywood back window and interior is mouse food. Someone has put a Diesel motor in it and rear end is old Lincon 9" so bolt patterns don't match the 8 bolt front. I don't like the 3/4 ton fact but I have plenty of 1/2 ton parts and 352's. I'm going to go see it soon. I could probably get it for $800 CDN or less. Should I add it to the project pile (I've always been intrigued by the uni's) or is it a wase of time and money for a 3/4 ton.

Are the frames/chassis the same for the uni's as the regular cabs? Is it just a body difference or is there other changes?
