Deader Than A Doornail
Anyone that can help me out, I'd appreciate it. This morning I went to head off to work, and when I turned the truck over, It turned once, and went completely dead. When I turn the key, nothing, no lights, no power period. I replaced the starter relay, the starter, the negative ground battery cable (cuz it looked frayed), the ignition switch under the column, and the ignition control module. Nothing, still dead. The battery is new, and fully charged, When I cross posts on the relay it will turn over. I was reading up on the inline fuse (14GA green coming off the relay), but I'm not sure about splicing this, There is also another fuse(?). It's a couple of pieces of plastic one with a small post in it, and the other side with a socket. It's about the only thing in line I can still easily get to. My truck is a 1991 F-250 4X w/ 460Cu. I'm running out of ideas short of having the thing towed into the shop for big dollars. Any ideas on what else I can check? Anyone?
