A quick question for you, not intending to hijack your thread, but...

Do your 38"s rub your front springs at full turn? What size wheel are you running?

I want to run 38"s too, and am looking for the ideal set up to avoid the spring rub.

I have the 38 Swamper Radials on mine and I love them. I had a set of bias 38's first and they sucked. The radials seem to be holding up really well.

brian... when you run a 38x15.50 on a 10" wide rim they will rub the springs at full lock. No big deal, just don't turn all the way.

If you have 8" of lift and move to a 12" wide wheel you will likely rub other places (fenders wheel wells etc)

Hey guys....
The full-lock stops can be easily welded up with a mig welder,
usually 1/16 to 3/16 is all it takes, and on some trucks it only takes one side. After the weld you can take an angle grinder to make it perfectly square. Have done about 12 or 14 trucks, (including my own) and none have been a problem.

have a great day!

Tim

I put on the fabtech 8" lift and im running 38x15.5 on a 12 wide. The only place that I rub is on the finder on sharp inclined turns. But Ive also extended my bumper out 1/2" and I put the Dyno Trac front axel upgrade on it to run dana 60 outer axle shafts, dana 60 nuckels, tall cross over steering, stock pitman arm and warn premium hubs so I could have stock steering and never have to worry about wheel bearings.
