300 rebuild kit

300 rebuild kit

Does anyone make a rebuild kit that lets you specify a cam grind? Or what about a rebuild kit that just doesn't come with a cam? I need to do a full rebuild on my 300 so while i'm in there i'm gonna mess around a little, see if i can free up a little more power so if i drop in an aftermarket cam i don't want a stocker hanging around taking up space.

I know JC Whitney has one and I think PAW has a kit too.

I know JC Whitney has one and I think PAW has a kit too, but I went to Advance Auto and just bought the parts I needed to rebuild mine and it cost about the same as a kit.

Nothern auto parts will substitue what ever cam you want in there kits it just cost you a little more. As a matter of fact they will put the kit togather with your choice of parts.pistons rings bearings cam oil pump gaskets
