Question fuel injectors

My 2000 expedition 5.4L has been flawless since we bought it new, now four years later with 74K miles it was running rough-code of misfire on #...., so I replaced the coil for that cylinder, ran fine for 3K more miles and started up again, so changed Mass air sensor, another coil (per the code stored), still rough under load so I changed all the injectors with new Bosch series III (F83E if that means anything) from FiveOmotors which are are the same 19# pressure rating however they aren't OEM, still rough so switched out the first (after market) coil with a new Motorcraft (guys buy the Motorcraft) coil and that fixed everything! but my wife feels it doesn't have as much power-- my question is did the new injectors change a lot? same fuel pressure rating but less fuel? is there any re-programing necessary- will this run too lean-(or hot) or is this maybe an illusion (even though my wife doesn't do drugs)
