dust shield question
Up front I realize this is a dumb question, but I don't know the answer.
What difference is there between the dust shield in an automatic vs. a manual tranny? I mean other than the auto being 2 pieces so you can get to the torque converter bolts.
Is there any functional reason you can't replace one with the other when swapping a tranny from auto to manual?
