inner bearing question

inner bearing question
Okay everybody
I am doing my brakes and now that I purchased the bearings I noticied that the inner ones (set 38) don't fit. Now I think since I performed a manual hub swap I said manual at the service counter. I looked up on autozones website and they offer a (set37) for the inners on auto hubs and the (set38) for manual hubs. Is there a reason for the different size bearings? Is there a way I can remove the races from my current setup and put in a (set 38) races and bearings? I am also having trouble getting out the races (do I just use the punch from the front of the hub?) any help will be appreciated.

One more question does the tone ring on the back of the rotor lie flush with the top of the grease seal?
