351m transmission
Hey guys. I have a 351m in my 79 ranchero and the transmission needs to be replaced. I was wondering what is the best trans to get for the 351m performance wise. Are there any manual trans that fit the 351m?

Any transmission that will fit behind the 460 will also fit a 351M/400. Retro fitting a clutch assembly into a vehicle not originally equipped with one is not for the faint-hearted, it takes some fabrication skills. If I were you I'd simply rebuild the C6 with a performance kit and go from there.
