Transmission Differences
I was told recently about there being a c3 and c5 transmission and i already knew about the obvious ones c4 and c6. I was wondering if any body could tell me the differences in the c3 and c5 transmissions compared up against the better know c4 and 6. thank you very much.

Yes, the C3 is a smaller transmission that was use on 4 cylinders mainly I think in pinto's and the pintostangs. The C5 is close to the C4 but I don't exactly know what the differences are besides the valve body. The pans are pretty much identical.
