400 in a 73 ?

I was wondering if any one has done this or found a place that make custom motor mounts. I have a 73 f-250 high boy 4x4 4sp , it hade a 360 , but i have fallen in love with the power of my 77 400(elelbrock intake and holly carb) since the frames are diffent widths and the didn't have that motor in 73.
all the rest i can get from local junk yards bellhousing, flywheel ect...
thanks for any help!!!

The 351M/400 engines were available from the factory in the final model year of the "high boy" F250 4x4 (early MY1977).

You should be able to use the frame brackets from a '77 high boy with a 351M/400 engine to mount the 400 in your '73 high boy.

thanks i did a little test fit with a junk 302 block, and it fit great in to the frame brackets. I forgot about my 86 351 H.O. that i rebuilt, since its the same block, it should work ?. I have flywheel and clutch for the 351

5 years a month and 2 weeks?

what happened to the 400? the 351W uses the same engine mounts as a 302, if the 302 fit, a 351W will fit also.
