My 83 F-100 has electrical quirks when cold. The blinkers and blower motor won't work. Once truck gets nice and warmed up, they will start working.
In addition to this problem, whenever it is REALLY cold (sub 20's) the radio, and needle gauges don't work either, although they will begin working rather quickly, before the blinkers and blower do.
I suspect this a ground problem, but I can't find anything obviously wrong. If this was your problem, where would you look first? All replies welcome!
I have checked the fuse block. I tapped it, wiggled it, and removed it from the firewall to check the connections. Everything looked fine to me. It seems to be something common to the blinkers and blower, but each item is on a different fuse. They do, however, malfunction simultaneously.
