Well....what a day....what a couple of weeks. Where do i start. I think i posted before that i brought the truck in for an oil leak two weeks ago, well they tigthened something and didnt fix the problem. Brought it back this monday got it back tuesday, oil leak is fixed, but when i picked up the truck from service the drivers door was out of alignment. The service writer was nice enough to have someone fix it quickly, but i really didnt look for damage because it was raining and i didnt think much of the door being out of alignment. I looked at the door today, weds., after inspecting it i found a crease on the drivers door lip close to the trim, paint chipped off and red paint on the door. Well, when i walked in the service bay, they have red lifts....hmmmmmmm. Talked to service writer and service manager both told me that nothing happened at their shop. (Well..im 20 years old driving a $40,000 and they didnt believe me). Anyway..i pulled out of there...not in the best way...i squealed the tires... :-) I was upset...but i went home explained the situation to my dad and he went up to the dealer with me. Before we talked to anyone for the second time we looked at the lift that my truck was worked on...and sure enough, a mark just oppisite of my door...white paint on a red lift. Went to the service manager and told him...he made me pull the truck in to the bay and he lined the door up with the paint on the lift, then he called his body shop manager and i have an appointment monday morning to get the dent fixed and the door realigned.
