Clearance Lights for 2003

Does anyone know if the clearance lights for the new 2003 models are the same as the 2001? Or are they different? Looking to put clearance lights on my truck want to make sure I have the new fandango ones. Thanks.

Clearance Lights for 2003

I had them included on my 02. Three of them are loose, even though the screws are tight. I will have them looked at at the first service. Kind of a bummer though.

99-2003 ARE ALL THE SAME. if you are going to add them be sure to buy the harness and the factory nuts also.

I was thinking about putting the lights on my truck. Any one know how much it costs and how much work it is to put the factory set on?

I added them to my truck.It wasn't too hard.Just make some templates and measure and get templates alighned.The first hole is the hardest!after that you start to relax.Good luck,Mark

Clearance Lights for 2003

I went to the local Ford garage and the guy behind the counter in the parts told me he doesnt reccomend putting them on because when you drill a hole in the body it is prone to rust very easily. I still want to do it though because it makes the truck look so much better. I really dont know what i would be doing so I would need someone to install everything for me? How much are all the parts from Ford? and then should i just try to find a friend that can do it? any suggestions? thanks.

Clearance Lights for 2003

I just got done doing mine about 10 minutes ago! Its really easy unless your short like me and have to climb on top of the truck to reach the middle! Dont worry about the rust thing just make sure once they are installed to run a bead of silicon around them to make sure no water gets in and the run some around the screws on the inside and you will have nothing to worry about!
