Ok...heres my question. I'm driving down the highway a couple months ago and my cruise started acting up. First thing i noticed is that it went to wide open throttle and the cruise woudln't shut off.....that was kinda freaky. Finally just cycled the key and that took care of it. Now it just gradually looses speed everytime i turn it on. probably about 10 mph per mile......whats up with that?

might be the servo going kaflooey, and also have the switches in the steering wheel (if so equiped) cleaned.

sorta kinda, I have had mystery disconnects and speedups due to bad switches....and I suffered dropping speed until I worked on the servo - also broke the servo cable
It would appear from your Gallery that yours is a 94 or newer. Starting with the 93 model year Ford changed from the old vacuum modulated servo to an electronic one. You might start by checking & cleaning all of your contacts in the control pad & at the servo. Try substituting a known good pad.
