Hypermax Engineering Prouducts

Does anybody have any experience with Hypermax Engineering prouducts? Specifically their Cowl Induction Kits for older idi motors and their exhaust systems?

There stuff is alright, not as good as ATS. I installed 4 of their pulse turbo kits on 6.9s and 7.3s. I've never tried one of their cowl kits. Seems like I heard they didn't add any performance due to where they come out. An area that's under a slight vacuum while driving (wiper cowl).

If you get a chance add your thoughts on the Mobil1 15-50 thread. I'd reaaly like to know your opinion.

nc,

My rig has the hypermax cowl induction, and pulse turbo. I love the turbo, but like Spec' said, I'm not sure how much the cowl induction does for it. It sure makes it easy to hear that turbo windin' up, though

I never used the cowl induction on my 88 but I did give thought to the fact that more rain water may be ingested .. I did like the ATS system though. The first one was the hardest to install and by looking at the system, I didnt feel it would even fit, but it sure did. Good luck and keep us posted.
