someone plese tell me

i just ordered Headmann exhaust tip with a glass pack resonator for my dual exhaust flowmaster 40 series
i have a 4.9L 300CID I-6 how do u think this will sound

yes i do i plan on removing them but im not sure if i should because in illinois they have strict emissions laws

That setup would be too quiet for my liking with those cats on. How does it sound now? Be careful with those resonator exhaust tips, it could sound ricey.

just a question, but why dont you just put them on and see what they sound like? since you will have them. sound is a hard thing to describe.

You better check your inspection laws regarding removing cats. They just changed ours here and even though only two counties require emissions inspections, no inspection station is allowed to pass any car or light truck for safety inspection if the cat has been removed. Anything to satisfy the tree huggers!
