Transmission ??

While looking through my maintenance schedule for my 04 scab Fx4 I noticed that every 30k miles you should change the transmission fluid ...if you have transmission 4R100.

That made me curious...I checked the doorpost and the TR code is "B".......which is not listed in the identifiers....so.....what tranny do I really have??

Any input appreciared!

Depends on your engine: the 4.6 has a 4R70E, the 5.4 has the 4R75E. Both of these are "sealed-case" designs with lifetime fluid. At least that's what Ford says.....
