First real burnout
Today I took out my chip for reasons I don't care to expand upon right now. No biggie. So I put the chip back in and go out to 'test drive' mah truck. I got to thinking that I have never in 63k done a power brake. I gotta try!
So I found a desolate road and stop. Hit the brakes mash the gas feather the brakes and BAM! Smokin em good! I have the original tires (Steeltex a/t) which are due for replacement anyway so I don't realy care. I let her wind up a bit then let off the brakes and skate away. I looked in the rear view and remembered why I put that synthetic gear lube in the rear end: Limited Slip is back! Two perfect patches of Firestone rubber on Till Road! Man, I felt like a teenager again (not that I am that far removed from my teens!)
Anyway long post about nothing much. I just thought you all might get a kick out of my first burnout story. If not, take a number. My wife has number one.

I better go down to the local used tire shop and get a couple of $5 tires though, I can't bear the thought of kissing my BFG's goodbye.
