1715 and speed limiter

My 1715 came in Friday and I set it up that night.. WOW!! I am very happy with the response of the truck. It drives a lot more crisp now. I may have to get a Diablo chip down the road just to compare the two.. Anyway. I set it up to raise the speed limiter but it does not say how much it goes up to.. If it is able to raise
it. I ask because I am sure I will never find out for myself. I only took the truck to the limit once and that was after I was told that it had one. I did it just to see. But fact is. I never have a need or reason to get over 80. Plus to tell the truth The idea of rolling down the HWY at 100 plus mph just because I want to see how fast the truck would go. Just does not appeal to me like it did when I was younger. It's a truck. If I need to go that fast I will buy a bike or a sports car. So I thought it would be easier to find out if anyone else knew?

I set mine up tonight and was wondering the same thing, although like you, I'll probably never find out how fast it really goes.

As a side note, the "performance" tune does wake this beast up. With my 19.5" tires and a stock setup, I can't break the rear tires loose from a straight dead stop. Now, they spin for about 10'

I thought the shift pressure was a little high at "max" setting and bumped it down about 3 notches.

I get a little spark knock at WOT/max rpm when it shifts, probably due to 1/2 of the gas tank running 89 and the other 1/2 mixed with 91 octane.

I could not break the tire loose befoer from a strait start but sure can now. I can power break it now as well. I had my foot in it all
weekend so I have not seen any advantage gas milage. But with my foot out of it. It has been inching up. If I can get about the same that I had using 87 with 93 I will be happy.
