10.25 locker
hi everyone, i have a sterling 10.25 semi floater, the local dif shop told me there are no lockers or limited slips available for this axle, are they right? any help is appreciated as i could realy use some more traction

I don't know offhand, but I would imagine that someone, somewhere along the line, decided it would be a good idea to make a locker for the rear axle of heavy duty F-series trucks.

If the gearset and carrier are the same for the semi-floater and the full-floater, you have a few differential choices available. For true automatic lockers, there are the Detroit Locker and the Powertrax LockRight. The ARB Air Locker is listed as for the full-float only. For clutch-type limited slips there are the Ford Traction-Lok, Auburn, and Eaton Posi. I have the LockRight in my 10.25" full-float and I like it alot.
