When I trun my steering wheel there is a loud squeek. I also hear it when going over bumps. It sounds like metal on metal.
I looked under car and had a helper turn the steering wheel and it seems to be coming from the right front wheel area. Any ideas of cause and fix ??
Most likely grease in covered joints has dried. Inject grease with a needle attachment to your grease gun into all the rubber boots in the front steering linkages. Solves the squeak in 10 minutes and for a few cents. Use just a little in each go avoid it oozing back out.

Thanks.
...by the way just changed IAC. Works great !
The dried grease in the pitman arm seems to be common problem... try injecting it as suggested.
