What Tranny Do I have?

I looked under my truck today and counted how many bolts I have on my tranny and there's 14 What is the tranny type and is it any good? I have a 1990 F-150 XLT 302EFI 2 wheel drive with over drive.

A4OD??? No such thing.

What is the "Trans" code off the vehicle IDsticker on the door jamb?

it is most likely an aod. the easy way you can tell is by looking for an OD turn off button on the shifter. i had a 90 f150 with a 5.0 with an aod. if there is no button then it is an aod
