do you know anybody with one. it shouldn't take long to do. just ask family/friends. if you do it i'd make a few clips, each w/the camera a different distance from the truck and then when you put it on your computer use the one that sounds the best.

Hello modru2004,
I used a 4 Track Recorder. It's actually used to lay down Guitar Tracks to make songs but It's the only thing I had to use. Then I downloaded it to my computer and change it from a Wav. file to an mp3 file. I e-mailed it to [url]www.exhaustsoundclips.com but they haven't posted it on there web site yet. If you know anyone who plays guitar, bass etc. They may have one and could help you with it. Hope this was of some help.

Or you could get anything that can record sound and play it back... Mmm... tape recorder, camcorder, etc.
And just have it play into the mic on your computer.

I used a DigiCam for mine recordings. Hope this helps.

well i thought about the taperecorder into mic idea myself, but i have no idea where my mic is. with my 5.1 speakers plugged in i don't have a place for the mic too so i stashed it somewhere.
