Unhappy shaking problem

I have a 99 F250 SD PSD 4x4. Sometimes this truck shakes like the wheels are going to fall off, I pull over to a stop then proceed again and it will go away for about a day or two, then start again. I recently had the drivers side ball joints replaced. I jacked it up and checked everything tie rods, ball joints all seemed fine.
Any ideas?

What seems to be shaking the worst....
front or back .....
floor or steering wheel?
What wheels and tires?
Did you check the lug nuts on the wheels?
Is it raised?

the shaking seems to be coming from the front. Just feels like shimmy all in the front end, steering wheel shakes. As for tires I just put a new set of Firestone Destination M/T 285/75/16 on today maybe that will do it. Yes the lug nuts was the first thing i checked. Has a 2" leveling kit on the front is all...

Did you get the front realigned after the front leveling kit?
Do you have a solid or independant front axle?

I have the independant joke in mine. Down here if you took it anywhere but Ford they would tell you it was within spec which was so wide it was a waste of money to get it done. Ford had the bushings you had to change to adjust it to right on. I have saved the 300 I laid out to get it done 4 years ago in tires. I have it put on a machine when I get new tires just to check if it changed. It has not even though I have replaced ball joints. I always hear something like, "Man I have never seen one so close to the prefered specs" from the guys in the tire shops that do alignments. Basicly all they do is toe in because they do not have the bushings to set the caster/camber with. I am not up on what you do to set the solid axle if you can, it is probably a simular deal though. After I did mine it drove and still does drive like a car on the steering end anyway.
On the solid axles there used to be a steering stabilizer shock that was to stop that shimmi that happens about 55 or 60 or 65 as I remember. Slower or faster was smooth but there was always a speed close to 60 that shook your teeth out, but that was 30 years ago also.
