Before I bought my 99' used, I test drove a few 03s (new at time) They were much quiter in the cab. Have found a few websites about doing some acoustic treatments to the truck. One I liked is from 'B-Quiet'. Has anyone used any sound deading materials on theirs? If so what kind of result did you get and do you think that it was worth it?
I'm interested in making my 94 psd a little quiter in the cabin. What were the sites you found? I'm also curious about any results anybody has had in this regard.
My new (to me) truck has the vinl floor, so I plan to put in carpet. In my 73 corvette, I painted on some real dense stuff on the floor that was supposed to quiet things too. Got it at a car stereo shop.
The best site that I have come across is from B-Quiet , they have CC diesel they did, looks pretty good. Also there is another material that is quite more costly, Here is the link for it. From the research I have done it looks like the Brown bread is the best material for the money. Found it on ebay, would cost about 280 clams to do a CC.
