Bad window switch on drivers door?

Bad window switch on drivers door?
anyone ever have a bad switch on their f-250 ('03)?
my mother calls me over her house and and says that her window wont go down and when it went up for the last time, it didnt go all the way up.
so i proceed to take the door panel off, look at the switch box and it seemed that nothing was wrong with it
but i look a little closer and the wire was falling out of where it connects to the prong inside the box
so i put it back in and waala!
all systems go
just found this weird cuz her door panel has never been taken off, nor has the window had any other problems
BTW, this is the same truck i mentioned about dome light staying for like 20 or more minutes and the door ajar light stays on also

Bad door adjar switch. Most guys say to spray with wd40 in the latch. I replace the switch....In cold weather the switches will stick sometimes nothing you can do about that. mine sticks at -15 deg or so.

I have a 2003 ranger and the same thing happened...the driver side window would not go down but it would go up (sometimes) i took it to the dealer and they put a new window motor in it...the window works great now...although Ford redesigned the motor and the part was on backorder for about 3 weeks..but once they put it in it worked....hope this helps!
