I'm driving in my truck when 2 16 year old kids with nothing better to do through a water ballon filled with milk in my truck. nails me in the head. Most of it went out the window... thankfully...... OK........at this point im sorda angry. i just look over and stare at them for about 2 seconds. Then i get out of my truck at this busy intersection and chase their A##'s down to the middle of the intersection (big 4 lane road). They stop and both come toward me and one throughs a punch and nails me in the cheek. Ok now im very angry, i therefore proceed to take both of my fist and take both of them to the ground, this all lasted about 5 seconds in the middle of the intersection. I planned on making them clean it all up or pay for it but after seeing both of them on the ground bleeding i felt like i shoudl get out of there. People started to honk, and screaming they deserved it!!! Thsi was one of the craziest things that every happened to me. i was never worried about either of them beating them up. Me=6'3 180lbs them 2 5'7 punks. I just turned 18 so its not like im beating up someone 20 yrs younger then me.... it was just pretty crazy and it all went by really fast. what do u all thinkk

Got Milk ?

Now on the serious side of things.

IMHO !
This is just another example of SOME young people that never learned the difference between right & wrong. Plus, their snubbing of society and its rules, not wanting to be responsible for their actions, combined with weak juvenile laws.

Wow! :-staun
I think the coolest part of your story is the delayed response where you just stared at them. I can just imagine their reaction (Uh-oh, I think we pissed him off....).

Getting out was what I would've wanted to do as well but common sense would say not to do it.

Once they threw the punch it was all over for them. You had'em!

I'm with you on this one. Yea, a few people are going to say you did the wrong thing but a few more reactions like yours and we wouldn't have hooligans pulling crap like that.

As a shrink, I'm supposed to preach peacefull negotiation. Screw that. You did the right thing. I'm all for giving a good butt kicking when its deserved, and these ******** had it coming. Good job for taking care of busniness without hospitilizing them.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 21-May-02 AT 10:24 PM (EST)]I'm gonna side with the group here too. When it becomes too painful to be a jackass, common sense will dictate that a person no longer be a jackass. The penalty has to be severe enough that later, when they consider doing something so stupid and dangerous again, their feeble little minds will harken back to the severe a$$whipping they got last time. As Col. Jeff Cooper says, the only appropriate response to violence is swift, decisive, determined counterviolence. If you look like food, you will be eaten. Man, you spoiled their appetite!!

Good Job!!

I most certainly agree. That's the way to handle this. Teach those lousy punks a lesson.
They should consider themselves lucky you weren't coming back from a weekend of hunting or other gun using pastime. Not that you'd really do anything, but if after they threw the balloon they saw a gun rack with a couple of rifles, oh boy, they'd be peein' their pants when you got out, even empty-handed.

Good Job CRJ!!!
If a cop had seen this balloon throwing, and caught these punks before you got to them, he would have arrested them for vandalism or something, and they would have gone to Family Court, where the Judge would have lectured them and turned them over to their parents. And you know they would be on the street the next day bothering someone else!
These two got what was coming to them. GOOD JOB - GOOD JOB - !!!!!

You da man!

There is an enormous shortage of a$$ whoopin's in this country. Thanks for doing your part. I guess the only other thing I would've done was to rip off their shirts to wipe up the milk.

Way to show control, too. Most wouldn't have stopped at one punch. But, you knew they got the point and left it at that. You should have no regrets at all about what you did. In fact, you should feel good that you taught these kids a valuable lesson that may keep them from getting into serious trouble later in life.

Personally - I'd have taken the shirt or jacket off one of them, and used it for a rag to clean up the truck with.

I'm a bit concerned over your being 18 though, that's the age where things tend to stick to your record if you get caught in the wrong.

But they swung first, so GOOD ON YA!

Dude what a bunch of chicken##### punks! I'd have done the same thing man...they deserved it! I mean, they hit that FINE truck with milk! See, the problem is whenever I do something like that, I look like the bully because I'm 6'3'', 300+ and mean looking. So I had to learn to control myself a little more than most. But good job, you made us all proud!
