Help with fuel pump problem

95 Explorer Went out to leave this morning and the explorer would not start. I turned the key to on and did not hear the fuel pump prime. Went and got a fuel pump relay, still doesnt work. I have to assume it is the pump. Is there anything else I should check first? This happened a couple of months ago and after a couple of days it just started until now and of course it is 5 degrees out today, so it sucks to be out there working on it.
Thanks in advance

Chris

Check to see if you have a roll over cut out switch. They are usually on the pass. side kick plate area .Also you may have to go under and check all your connections as salt and road slop may have caused a bad connection. Good luck Mush

You may try smacking the tank a couple of times while an assistant turns the key on. Sometimes a stuck pump will start this way.
If so, then replace the pump or you will be left stranded somewhere.
