which transmission?

Anyone know how to tell the diff. between the AOD and the E4OD on a '90 f-150. Is it listed on the door?

if the truck does not have an OD turn off button then it is an aod

The 95 F-150 4x4, I have, has the AODE and it has the overdrive shut off on the gear shift, my son has a 97 F-250 4x4 with the E4OD and it also has the overdrive shut off on the shifter.
