2x4 conversions - search function not working
I just saw a thread in here a few days ago about doing a 2x4 to 4x4 conversion and now I can't find it...I'm looking at a truck that's 2x4, but I really want the 4x4 option...curious as to what a ballpark cost on that conversion might be...anybody?

it's a real pain in the rear to do if you like the truck and the body is clean buy it then hunt up a rusted 73-79 4x4 and swap bodies, its easier and probably safer to drive. The 2x frames are complely different than the 4x frames and you'll probably have more in it buying the parts to make it a 4x4 than you would in a rusted truck
