Whoa! 240 amps? Are you planning to power up your own Woodstock? Most upgrade units will be in the 130-150 amp range. Even the new PSDs use 2 135 amp units to achieve higher total output; and that utilizes some specific relay circuitry to keep everything in order.
In order to obtain the amount of output you are asking for would require an entirely different case to accommodate the needed wiring, which would necessitate new bracketry, etc. for your 300. Larger (or a multiple) battery setup would also be a good idea.
You might check with a bus (school or commercial) company to see if they could offer any possibilities.
I wish my house electrical panel could put that much out!!
Maybe the lights would stop flickering when I use the coffe pot and microwave at the same time.
Have you called your local CAT/Ransome engine dealer? Just a guess...big equipment, big electrical needs
Try the Mechanical Man. Has up to 250 amp. They have all the different style cases for Ford, chevy,Jeep etc. They are true bolt in. The cases are larger, but the 200 amp bolts right in, no mods. Just gotta run 1/0 wire from the alternator straight to the b a t t e r y. They also sell 200 amp isolators and all dual batt set ups. Great set-ups for all of us winch, welder, large stereo users. Used to have two 200 ampers on my Bronco(one where the air pump lived). Not many juice shortage problems then!
