Lifting a 2000 2WD SD
I just recently bought a 2000 2WD SD w/ the V10. It is STD cab and long box. It sits considerably low in the front end and I would like to get it level. My current 235's that are on the truck are causing some vibrations at high speed, so the local Discount Tire has agreed to Pro-Rate the ties and give me $240 in vredit twoards new tires. I would like to fit 285 BFG AT's on my stock 16" rims without any rubbing. I have done some reserch requarding lifts for this truck, but I have not come across any usefull info. Any suggestions requarding brands, installation tips, etc, would be great.

Just so you know, the 285's will fit on stock wheels on a 4x2 without a lift. 
The truck is actually high in the rear not low in the front. It's so when you add 1500 pounds the thruck will sit level.

RCD & Fabtech both make 4" kits for 2wd SDs (Fabtech also makes a 6"). The 4" kits will probably set the truck up about 1" high in the front. This can easily be leveled out with a 1" rear block. The RCD kit includes Bilstein shocks which are far superior to the Fabtechs. Although, you can substitute the shocks included with the Fabtech kit for Bilsteins. Believe me, they are worth the extra money.
