Question frame perches

I am taking out my tired I6 for a 351w. I have the motor and accessories except the perches. I can get 351m perches online, but my question is do I need the piece off a 351m that protects the oil pan and goes between the frame, or can I just use the one from the I6 with new perches and mounts? I did a search and found user, i_alone had posted pics but it was just showing red X's. Also when I move the perches towards the firewall (79 F150) will I have to redrill, or will it mount in existing holes in the frame. Thanks to everyone that always post answers to my questions. This would be difficult for me without FTE.

351M perches work (as you probably already know). What oil pan protector piece is this you're talking about? I don't have one on my truck. The perches should mount to the frame ok without any drilling as far as I know.
