Early 99 with superchip microtuner Problem

I have a early 99(Jan) psd.I installed a superchip micro tuner and now when the truck is cold usually in the first 1 to 2 miles after leaving home the engine jerks like its not getting fuel for about 5 seconds then it clears up and will not do it again until I start out cold again.It only does this 1 time per every cold start.Any ideas what this might be?

Chip problem

Have you called the Superchip people? They might have some insite to the problem. Also what dia codes does the programer give you?

No dia codes!

It does'nt give any dia codes.I will see if I can find a number for superchips and give them a call thanks.

Add cetane additive your fuel. You'll get the side benefit of better mileage.
