The 390CFM and the Offenhouser dual plane inake on a bone stock engine CLAIMS that it's good for 50HP?
electric fan I saw a 2100CFM Pusher for $89 in jegs.
K&N air filter-but what Air cleaner assemboly for a new holly?
Spark plugs -BOSCH Plantnuim +2's
Hotter Coil Accell Flame thrower II -claims 25% more spark engery.
Header - I saw Headman offroad torque monster for $230 in jegs
What would each add individually and and what would all the the above add up as fair as HP and TRQ goes
Anything simple that I haven't cover let me know?I wanty to build a torque MOSTER!
Thanks
Dustin
first stick w/ stock replacement autolight plugs. second, what torque headers u talkin bout in jegs? id say go for the 390 CFM if ur gunna keep the RPMs low
its hard to say what they'd add individually but id say ur expecting a 50-75 hp increase w/ all those mods together when its all tuned right.
i doubt it highly. the head needs some re-working to allow more air in, its the biggest resriction. now if u were to add a port n polish then id say 115hp...maybe 115 lb-ft of torque...
No it's 115HP.Are all those mods good for low end?75HP Means 150FTLBS of trq right right now my engine is 128HP@3,500RPM and 300FTLBS @2,000RPM that is like 2.3FTLBS PER every HP
My engine likes to be between 800RPM-2,000RPM and it accelorates HARD anything over 2,000RPM is nothing but RPM no power gains
