Help - Good Deal???
I can buy a 96 250 with 102,000 miles for 9k. It is a ext cab, short bed, 460 automatic. The only options are cruise, tape deck, and the towing package. It has a nice 10,000lb hitch, mile marker front hubs and is wired for cb. Everything else I have found in this price range (9-10k) has 130k to 150k miles, but are XLT's for the most part.
Blue book and NADA both have it going for 10.5 to 11, the dealer was asking 10 and I got him down to 9.
Do you think this is too much to pay for this truck or is this a good deal?

I have to assume it's a 4x4 and automatic (you didn't say, although you did mention the hubs). If it's in nice shape, then $9,000 certainly seems a good price. If the truck was worked hard (and a good mechanic would be able to tell you that), and a lot of 460s were, then I might think twice.
