I have a problem
Well, it seems as though the whole "Cross-dressing" thing has come full circle for me.
I added a topper to my truck this Summer, and people constantly come up to me and say "Nice truck! From far away, it looks like an Excursion!"
My heart aches...for if they only knew how much of a destructive statement that is.
Take a look for yourselves, and please, Be [font size=0]GENTLE[/font].Okay?

I have a problem
Good looking truck. Does not look like an EX to me, even with the topper. I put a hinged bed cover on my 02 F250 SD PSD but I think that I like yours better. No one I know that owns an EX or a SD PSD would confuse the two. Nothing wrong with an EX, it's just not for me. I need an open truck bed. But a EX would have been my second choice principally because of the PSD engine. I was to cheep to get off an extra 10K. The only thing that I would do in addition to your topper is take that 4X4 sticker off the rear. If they can't tell it's a four wheel drive then don't give them any hints.

I see no problem. It looks like a clean ride with a nice topper. I guess it could look like an Excursion if you really tried hard enough. I think the cross dressing problem is not an issue with your truck. Looks good to me.

Okay, enough innuendo.
I suppose the shortbeds with a topper would look more like the Excursions. I seriously get a comment like that once a week or so.
I guess it's the solid black that trips them up. All I can figure is that they can't tell the definition of the doors/windows etc.
Oh well. No matter, Ex's are cool too.

It doesn't matta what they say about a truck looking like an Ex. That is one very sharp truck. Besides, those people probably think diesel is just an actor's name.
