I am wanting to order a new F350 crewcab. I have done some homework and want an Edge Hanger kit (3") to level the front. The folks at Donahoe Racing have told me that 315/75x16 tires will fit with 16x8 rims. I am looking for someone to tell me if they have this setup and if it will fit under a 7 foot garage door. I do not want to leave the truck sit outside.
Thanks for the reply. Were those measurtements out of the owners manual? I think I remember looking at a freinds and noticed they had the F250 listed as being taller than the F350. I did not think that could be right. Thanks again for any help. I have a set of BFG all terrains in the garage ready to be mounted on a new steed!
Yeah from ford specs. Mine( see sig) i believe is 78" (no lift ) i'll check when i get home tommorow. In the mean time whats wrong with leaving it outside it's not a benz. Just kidding.

If it was a Benz......I might leave it outside! Kidding of course! Is your truck a 250 of 350? If you could measure that would be great. I can use any advise I can get on the leveling kit (hangers) and tires. I do not think the leveling kit will raise it much. The tires I assume will raise it around 2 inches.
I have BFG All Terrains in the garage already. I won them in a contest where I work. What a great job.....anyway I had just heard many good things about this kit and the bilstien (spelling) shocks that come with it. I am open to any suggestions though. This kit is priced a bit high but i figure you get what you pay for.
I like the BFG's myself waiting to wear this firecraps down a bit to get some 295's for now. You can buy bilstiens and find another alternative as far as hangers go but hey if you got the cash go for it. The edge seems to be the latest trend but there is fabtech, RCD, and others that i problably can't remember. I'm still looking into it I have quite sometime before i lift my truck due to shipping restrictions.

2000 F-250 4x4 V-10 stock suspension, stock rims with BFG All-terrain T/A's 285/75R16's sits 82 inches high. Althought I have stock suspension, no level kit, my truck sits perfectly level. It may have something to do with having the camper package, and the off road package. I just measured it last week when trying to decide on a camper top.
FYI, although not exactly the lift combo you have. 295 BFG's on a 4-inch lift is real scary on 7-ft clearances, mine will not fit under my 7 ft door without the self inflicted sunroof conversion.
The tires will clear as long as you keep the same backspacing as stock - no wide offset wheels or you'll rub in front (Mine are 16x9 Welds w/ 2.5 inch BS)
I just went outside and measured mine ( note its cold out there )
with 4"front, 1" rear lift. 315/70-16 tires measure 34.8". highest point on roof is lights and they are 85.5" I hope this helps
Tires are on 16 x 10 Eagles
I had to trim front spoiler, and trim up inside of running boards but tires do not hit
Bordaine,
Its colder than a well diggers bag here as well. Thanks for your trouble!! Do you think I would be safe to say that the roof lights add 1/2 to 3/4 inches to that measurement? If I go with a 3 in hanger that will save me another inch as well.
Thanks Again
