86 Efi Tb

I used throttle body cleaner with a soft bistle brush to clean my TB. A whole lot of brown came out. I almost used a whole 12 oz. can. Now the idle is too high. What do you think happened after it was cleaned??

i don't think anything would happen fron cleaning the throttle body. i would set the idle and see how it is for the next week or so.

I wonder if it's possible that you somehow fouled the throttle position sensor? It is located on the bottom, where gravity might have carried the cleaner and crud. Just a thought.....
