Air Injection?

Im new here on this site and not quite sure how things work but i have a question.

I am looking into buying new headers for my truck and alot of the different companys ask if my engine has dual air injection, port air injection, or just plain air injection. I have a 1989 F-250 w/ 351W EFI. I was hoping that some of you might know how to tell if i do or if any of you have experienced this question before? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

air injection

Look at your current exhaust manifolds to see if they have the A.I.R. injection into the manifolds themselves or if the line runs to the backs of the cylinder heads. I believe most of the applications over 8500 GVW have the lines running to the exhaust manifolds, while those under 8500 have the lines running to the ports on the rear of each of the cylinder heads. This may be different from one year to the next, given some of the changes in emissions regs; and California units are probably different than 49 state setups.

Then there are trucks like my '91 that only have it running into the exhaust after the O2 sensor but before the cat. Nothing in the head or manifold at all.
