First off, tell me your symptoms.

Secondly, how many hours are on the engine. The timing is very easy to adjust if you have lots of time on your hands. If you are viewing the engine from the timing gear side, the pump alignment mark needs to go to the left to advance. There are 3 nuts the hold the pump to the gear housing.

Buy I need to know the symptoms before you waste your time for nothing. Not doubting you any, just don't want anyone to do something that is not necessary.

Ok.. here goes.. Sorry for bad english.. OK.. Live in Norway..

1: Hard start. Have to put the accelerator almost all the way to get it to fire.. Glow plugs checked.. ok

When starts heavy black smoke and have to play with the accelerator to make it run.. Goes up and down on rpm. 500 - 1100

2: Low power.. Try to get boat in plane and HEAVY amount of BLACK smoke.. When boat is in plane and running 20 knots HEAVY white smoke.. Lots.. Same with top speed.. 32 Knots.

3: I slow down and stops..Shut of engine and wait 30 seconds.. Glow plugs come on and i try to start an engine is still difficult tu start. (Engine 80 C ) When it finaly starts it revs utp to abaout 1500-2000 rpm's ans stop.. Again have to play with accelerator to keep it running..

Engine have 550 hours on it..

Not anyone can help here.. The say its imposible to fiks...

It does not sound like a timing issue in my opinion. The absolute first thing to do being im not familiar with boats is to check the entire fuel system. Even pull the tank and check for water. Check all fuel lines and connections. You may want to even install a new lift pump or convert to electric is it already does not have one.

If you do all that and it still does not fix the problem, you will need to invest in a new injector pump and make sure to specify the HP and application your engine is used in. Also get a new up to date add on water separtor as water is most likely what ruined your pump. IT IS FIXABLE, you just need some time on your hands.

Post back anytime and help will be on the way.
