Edlebrock Carb
I went out to check truck (in shed) last night to make sure antifreeze is o.k. and my new Edlebrock carb has white mold all over it!!!!! This is the truck with the high compression motor and one dead cylinder that I quit working on till spring (if then).
Can I spray something on carb??????

Best bet is to spray rubbing alcohol. Should kill the mold without hurting paint or corroding any metals. Get the 100% strength, not the drug store brand. Don't expect the carb to be pretty any more either, Mold loves to corrode metal. That is an on going problem with some aircraft that I work on.
