Question Help setting up my Gallery

Hey all,

I have been trying to set up my gallery and am having problems. The photo software that I have is Pixelia Image Mixer. It came with my camera (Sony "FD Mavica"). I am unable to import the Jpg files to my gallery. when I try I get an error message that tells me the file is too big. The FTE Website limits file size to 30,000 bytes (I think that is right) but my Images fall right around 30,825.. this is just one picture not an entire album I am no computr whiz but is this an abnormally large pic file??? could it be buffered/padded for some reason??? is there any way I can convert these Jpg files into something smaller??

any input would be helpful ..remember, use small words, I am no computer whiz.

That is basically a user gallery question so I move it here.

Send it to me in a personal e-mail reply that I ask for it.
