Yuengling Lager boy I miss that beer. I use to live in Elizabethtown but I was in Dauphin County.
I love America and Americans. Apple pie, Fords, fast Fords, faster Fords!!!! But, alas, American (large commercial type) brewers suck. I know that traveling around can get some fine local mini-brews, but if you really like beer, and I mean LIKE beer, not just someone who drinks it to be one of the guys, you can't beat Newcastle Brown. Killians is good, too, but heavy at times. I had some Michelob Amber Bach, and was pleasantly surprised. The only good domestic beer I have ever had. I will drink just about anything, but I really don't know how so many people can drink Miller Lite or Bud Light. They both have a really nasty aftertaste, but I don't smoke, so my tastebuds are more sensitive.
Of course, all of this is just my opinion, and I would be happy to join any of you in a nice cold beer from any brewery. You can't enjoy a good beer without good company. I think I'll go find some good people right now. This has made me thirsty!!!!!!
Well I never really liked beer when I was in school or in college. But you know they say that your taste buds change and now I find myself actually enjoying a beer now and then. It usually is whatever someone else has bought though.
Love the Lienies!!!!! Living in the greater Brew City area (Milwaukee, WI) I would not support the p#$$ water they make and prefer to go with some of the mirco brews. Sprecher comes to mind along with many of the imports. And yes our neighbors to the north do a great job and making beer also. But when we get real serious there is a larger bottle we reach for with a black label. Distilled in a small DRY town in Tenn. A little Jack & Coke does it for me.
I just picked up a case of Lowenbrau on Saturday.I used to work at a beer/soda distributor(years ago),so I could sample different beers.I used to like Coor's Winterfest(when it was available around Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays).Bud is alright, but I like it better out of the bottles. In my opinion beer just tastes better in bottles, than in cans.
Sorry man's...but Belgian beers are the best in the world...

I never really drank or liked beer before I turned 21 for some odd reason, but since I've been 21 (6 months now), I have been drinking all kinds of beer. My favorites so far are good old Bud, Heineken, Honey Brown, Killian's, and Rolling Rock. When I was in a pub in Whidbey Island, WA, I had this great beer called Parrot Head Red. I wish I could get that stuff out here on the east coast, cuz it was very tasty.
