If I lock my hubs in manually to get everything lubed up, the front ends makes a squeaking sound and a slight ticking noise. Unlock the hubs and the noise is gone. Lock in the hubs automatically and the noise comes back. I rotated my tires a couple days again and on the front pass. side there was a little (smelled it before I found it) gear oil between the rotor and the wheel. My truck is also pulling to the right on braking. Anybody else seen this issue before? I haven't taken to the dealer yet because the last time they really made my angry. I am looking for a new dealer to go to at the moment. Thanks for any info.
How do I tell if it is fully engaged. I locked the hubs in manually and then got out and tried to turn the front shaft and the u-joints at the wheels. Everything seems locked up. There is some freeplay in the front shaft when everthing is locked. It feels the same way if I lock them in automatically.
Can I remove them without a manual? I can't find one for my truck yet. Once I get them off what would I need to look for? Damage, worn seals, anything in particular. Thanks.
