HELP, door lock, hub problems
I am also having another problem that started at the same time whick I think may be related. My truck is equipped with auto locking hubs which use vacuum pressure to engage when I shift the transfer case into 4x4. The hubs no longer engage unless I manually lock them by turning the dial on the hub.
I think both are problems relating to the vacuum system but I am relying on your expertise/experience for help.
The door lock motors need to be replaced most likely. You may have grounding problems but I doubt it.
I don't have any personal experience with your problems, but you can check out these threads:

Thanks for the links to those threads Smokin Superduty. Looks like I'm not the first person to have that door lock problem. I just didn't think both doors would go out at the same time like that. As for the hubs I am going to change the vacuum lines tommorow and if that doesn't work I will have the vacuum motor checked.Oh well, not bad considering this is the first mechanical issue I have had in 79,000 miles.
My truck is a bit slow to respond when I use the clicker or the door switch to activate the door locks. Been that way since I bought it end of last October. Hmm, they still work though, so maybe I'll check it out for lube and just keep an eye on it. Hopefully I won't have to buy two new actuators for $60-$80 a pop.
Best,

Oh BTW, A.G. is a beautiful area. Got a buddy in the 5-cities area (Santa Maria). Wouldn't mind heading in that direction in the near future to live, work, retire...
Best,
