Ranger rough Idle and Stalling

Hey guys and gals I have a 1994 Ford Ranger 2 wheel drive with a 2.3 It seems to be getting worst as time goes on. It idels rough and sometime it will stall It does get a little better the longer you drive it. The volt meter seems to drop when it starts to stall then it comes back up. Any help you could give woulb be thankful.

Always start with the simple stuff. In this case try cleaning the idle air control valve.

Welcome to FTE!!

The reason the meter drops is because the engine speed drops and the chage rate drops. I would start by checking for codes, see pulling the eec-iv codes in the tech info post, nad testing the fuel pressure.

Also check for loose or broken vacuum lines. If you have a guage, check the vacuum.

Thanks for the infro I will try to pull the codes and also clean the idel air control. I have already visualy checked for vacum leaks maybe I can get a gauge and go that route.
