Hi guys,
This is my first post and I need help!!
I have a '99 F250 SuperDuty, Power Stroke, 6 sp manual, 4x4. My truck has the electronic 4x4 switch instead of a lever. About 2 weeks ago I had trouble getting the truck into low range, but it finally went in after a few tries.
Since then I took the truck on a 2500 mile road trip and now nothing happens when I flip the switch to 4 hi or 4 lo. I have checked the fuses and relays specified in the owners manual to no avail. I also disassembled the switch and checked/tested it and everything looked good there to.
When I turn the switch I can't hear any relays clicking or the t-case shifting motor trying to move. No indicator lights come in either. As far as I know, no codes have been set by the computer.
The truck is out of warranty and I would like to avoid paying EXPENSIVE dealer labor rates if I can.
If anyone can help please reply!! I live about 35 miles southeast of Denver in a llittle town called Kiowa if anyone was curious and I love this truck, except for the damn electric t-case shifter. I would have rather have the lever, but it was a great truck for a good price.

I'm not familiar as to where the wire to the transfer case shift solenoid is,but if you find it check the voltage there when shifted into 4wd and if there is voltage then you probably have a bad shift solenoid.That should be the part that the wires plug into.
